One day at the grocery store I was rushing around and accidently bought a head green cabbage instead of lettuce. I couldn't think of what to do with it until someone mentioned Haluski. I love Haluski!! After reading many internet recipes I decided to make up my own since none were exactly how I remember it.
1 lb pork chops
12 ounces of egg noodles
1 head cabbage
1 large sweet onion
1 stick butter
olive oil
garlic salt
1. Cook pork chops in large skillet in oil.
2. Remove pork chops leaving drippings still in skillet.
3. Add pieces of cabbage and sliced onion to skillet with half stick of butter.
4. Boil egg noodles according to package, drain, and add the other half stick of butter.
5. Once cabbage and onions are cooked mix in egg noodles and garlic salt to taste.
6. Serve with pork chops!
Not the healthiest meal but very tasty!!
